Manifestation of the Holy Spirit

Christians do not speculate. They believe, and when the Spirit is upon them, they know the result. Dare to believe. Stand on the Word of God.

God the Father gives the Spirit to all who are called, but not necessarily in equal measures—He distributes to each according to His grace (Romans 12:3). But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each for the profit of all (1 Corinthians 12:7). He entrusts Him to the humble, the broken of heart—to those who have compassion. We will never do anything in line with God’s Word except we have compassion. This comes from the Christian realizing that every soul under heaven is God’s creation; He has imprisoned all in disobedience that He might have mercy on all (Romans 11:32). We all need God.

These people we meet, these strangers, are in desperate need of hearing of Him, of receiving His love. The Lord wants all saved people to receive power from on High—power to witness, power to act, power to live, and power to show forth the divine manifestation of God within (which results in signs and wonders).

It is His divine will that we live lives in the Spirit, lives filled with the Spirit power; this is what Jesus meant in John 10:10, about the abundant life (and this is where prosperity pastors get confused, as they do not even consider the role of the Holy Spirit in the believers’ life).
This kind of life comes from constant and continual submission of our will; for it is only by this subjection of your own will to that of God’s will that Christ will reign supreme in your life. By this we allow the Holy Spirit to work out in us what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).

Coming into the power of the Almighty changes us. When you encounter the Holy Ghost, you cannot but be changed! When the bible says to ‘seek ye first the kingdom of heaven, and all these things shall be added to you’, it is God telling us what truly matters. By obeying, we learn to love and have compassion. Everyone becomes our neighbor. We now have a mission, a purpose, and joy and peace that surpass all understanding. It is no longer for us to worry, but only to believe.

Oh, seek that peace and joy, beloved! When you begin to seek the Holy Spirit, a hunger and thirst for righteousness will quicken your soul. Then you will seek His will at every turn, and begin to bear fruit ( John 15:16) to His glory. Amen!
